Services & Fees

I see children (ages 7 and older), teens, individuals, and couples.

I offer talk therapy type counseling using a somatic-based parts-work approach.

I also offer EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapy. EMDR therapy changes the negative distortions your brain attached to traumatic experiences which keeps you stuck in fears and cycles of reactivity.
My rate is $75 per session for individuals &
$95 per session for couples.

(I have a select amount of reduced rate slots available to those who need them, please message me to check availability)

I can offer you a superbill to submit to your HSA or insurance for reimbursement if that is something your plans allow. You must check your plan to find out.
I do not accept insurance which benefits you in many ways:
USING INSURANCE:

Insurance tells you which providers you are allowed to see;

Insurance requires you to have a diagnosis to have your sessions paid for;

Insurance requires I provide notes that show that the goals you and I make must correlate with your diagnosis;

Insurance decides how many visits and how frequently you are allowed to have sessions with me.
NOT USING INSURANCE:

You can choose whichever counselor you want;

You don't need to be diagnosed or have a diagnosis in order to have sessions with me;

You and I can make the goals you want without having to meet insurance requirements;

You and I can decide how often you want to have your sessions without insurance approving or denying them;

You and I can decide how long you want to continue receiving counseling support.

LPC Intern FAQ's
1. WHAT DOES LPC INTERN STAND FOR?
  • LPC Intern stands for Licensed Professional Counselor Intern.

2. IS AN LPC INTERN A STUDENT?
  • No. An LPC Intern is a person who has completed their Master's Degree in Counseling (or related field) which is the education needed to work as a mental health counselor but has not yet met the minimum required counseling hours (2400 hours in Oregon) to be fully licensed by the State. LPC Interns work independently, but receive ongoing supervision from a clinical professional who helps oversee an Intern's work with clients.

3. WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN LPC AND AN LPC INTERN?
  • An LPC Intern is in the process of completing 2,400 professional counseling hours which typically takes two to three years after they graduate with their Master's degree. An LPC has completed these hours.
  • An LPC Intern is supervised by a State approved licensed clinical supervisor who oversees all their work with clients. An LPC is no longer required to have official supervision.

we have to make every day. It’s about the choice to show up and be real. The choice to be honest. The choice to let our true selves be seen."
